Fiji Hotel Information

There are many great places to stay when vacationing in Fiji, regardless of your budget. While some of the fancier hotels and resorts can be pricey, there are so many options available, that it is possible to find good rates, if you are willing to spend some time doing some comparison shopping. Tourism is a major part of Fiji’s economy, so there are plenty of accommodations to choose from.

Some of the more expensive hotels in Fiji start at about $400 per night, and feature many great amenities. The Tokirki Resort boasts twenty-nine guest rooms, all affording wonderful ocean views, and offering the utmost privacy, as it is located on a small island off the coast. There are many different packages to pick from, depending on your budget and what you are looking for. If you are looking for a smaller hotel setting, you might want to check out the Yasawa Resort, which has a maximum capacity of seventeen guests. This resort is very popular with honeymooners, and those who are renewing their vows. Due to the limited number of guests at any given time, there is plenty of privacy and seclusion, just great for that newly married couple who is only interested in each other. For an even smaller resort at the same price, there is the Matangi Resort, which only has fourteen rooms available. There is an added element here, as each room has been designed to resemble a small bungalow, offering guests privacy that they so often seek. This resort is renowned for its hospitality and willingness to cater to their guests every need whenever possible.

If $400 per night is a little too steep for your budget, you might want to consider one of the following hotels, which starts at around $300 per nights. One of the more popular hotels in this section is the Castaway Resort, which sits in the middle of 174 whopping acres. There are sixty-five rooms available for rent, and all are designed to provide comfortable, luxurious accommodations to their guests. Treasure Island Resort is also a popular site for many vacationers, housing sixty-seven guest rooms. This is a great sight for avid bird-watchers, since it is housed on a natural reserve. For a taste of the Mediterranean, you might prefer staying at the Lomani Resort, which offers quiet seclusion, boasting only fourteen guest rooms. This is a great place for couples to go to get away from the troubles of the world and just focus on each other.

For something a little easier on your travel budget, there are many hotels that offer rooms for $200 per night. While you do lose some of the privacy and luxury features of the pricier hotels, you can save money. Musket Resort is a great place to stay situated on over 600 acres of land. For those interested in private seclusion on a budget, you should check out the accommodations available at Sonaisali Resort, conveniently located near the airport. Those coming to the island for the opportunity to photograph this beautiful place, you would be well suited by staying at the Matana Beach Resort, and maybe even enjoy some scuba diving while you are there.

There are probably other hotels in the area that may be even cheaper than these listed, it is all a matter of doing your homework when planning your trip. If you do that crucial step, it is possible to have an excellent vacation, even on a very tight budget.
