Ever Thought of Getting Married in Fiji?

When it is time to start planning your wedding, chances are many places may go through your mind, and it can be difficult to narrow down that one perfect spot for the ceremony to occur. Some people prefer to have their wedding occur at home, maybe in their local church, while others prefer to go a different route, with an exotic wedding on a remote tropical island. When this comes to mind, one of the first places that people think of is Hawaii, followed by the Bahamas, but few think of Fiji at all. The truth is, Fiji is one of the best places to have your wedding, particularly if you are looking for exotic scenery and romance all in one spot. There are many great wedding locales to be found in Fiji, whether you choose to have your nuptials on the beautiful beach, or in one of the many resorts to be found here, you will find what you are looking for, and have the wedding of your dreams.

If you like the idea of getting married right on the beach, then you have plenty of beach land to choose from. You may also look into some of the local hotels and resorts and the packages they offer, as well as maybe finding the perfect isolated waterfall or private lagoon, if you are looking for something more private and secluded.

There are many services to be found in Fiji that can help you in planning and preparing for every aspect of your wedding, which will help eliminate some of the stress that you are likely to be feeling during this all important planning phase. It really couldn’t be simpler, you choose which particular wedding package you are interested in, and then show up at the appropriate times, all the decisions are made for you. Depending on the package you choose, you may only end up picking out your colors and your dress, or you may choose to be more involved, and be more in control, that is up to you to decide.

Many people have their wedding at the Turtle Island Resort. Here, you have several wedding packages to choose from, the most popular being the Grand Fijian Beach Wedding Ceremony, where you will be provided with your marriage license, officiating, music, food, cake, video and photographs of the ceremony, and if you choose, even clothing for the event. If you plan to have your wedding here, you should know that you will need to make your reservations well in advance, as this particular Fiji resort only books one wedding per week, which is good in that you will likely get better service, and bad in that the date you want may not be available.

Similar to the last resort mentioned, but located in a more remote location, is the Matangi Resort, which offers several wedding packages to choose from. Depending on which one you take, your licensing will be taken care of for you, your pastor or officiator, decorations, flowers, music, food, and you will be assigned a personal coordinator who will help make certain everything goes as planned.

These are just a few of the more popular wedding locations offered on the beautiful Fiji island. Think about what you would like to have in your wedding, and then do some research into the different wedding packages offered, so that you can make the best decision!
